The Heat has fallen to 7-8 straight up on the road this season. They have lost two straight all on the road. After a ten point defeat at Indiana the Heat traveled to Portland and are defeated 92-90 as a -3 ½ point favorite. The game landed under 194 ½ points. Miami blows a 13 point lead at the half in defeat. In much like the Indiana game the scoring for Miami was dominated by the Wade, Allen, James and Bosh The big four accounted for 77 of the Heat’s 90 points. A tough way to lose as the Heat allowed Portland just 37% shooting.
The Kings are 10-9 on their home court this season. Overall they team has lost three straight games with two losses coming at home to Memphis and on Thursday they drop a 112-117 decision to Dallas in overtime as a -2 ½ point favorite. The Kings waste a 49% shooting night in the loss by committing 20 turnovers and pulling down 11 less rebounds than the Mavericks. DeMarcus Cousins had 29 points and pulled down 9 boards in the game. Cousin’s is the only player of star quality on this Kings roster. Hard to make a case for anyone else starting on most teams in the NBA. The roster is that bad. Sacramento is the 27th ranked scoring defense in the NBA by allowing 102 points a game.
