Back to face murder charges in India - two Italian marines arrive in the southern Indian state of Kerala on Friday after being allowed home for Christmas.
The pair were members of a military security team protecting this cargo ship from pirate attacks off the Kerala coast.
They're accused of shooting two fishermen dead last February after apparently mistaking them for pirates - sparking a diplomatic row between normally friendly Italy and India.
Italy's consul said the return of the pair highlighted the 'honour' of the Italian government and armed forces.

"I am sure that the people of India, the people of Kerala, they will appreciate the importance of this gesture which we have done in good faith and I am sure that this will help to find a positive solution to this case."
The marines must now wait for a decision from India's Supreme court after Italy took the case there, saying the shooting took place in international waters and was outside the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
