Pakistan is scheduled to hold elections in May this year. Around 80 million people are eligible to vote. And although security may dominate the headlines, for many voters the key issues are more basic. Things like food security, power cuts, the country's huge debt and its lack of foreign currency reserves are among the issues that are nowhere near to being solved. So as elections approach, voters will have a lot to consider when casting their ballot. Al Jazeera's Imtiaz Tyab reports from Islamabad.
