Green Day announced on Monday that they are going back on tour, after cancelling their autumn live dates when lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong went into rehab.
He underwent treatment for substance abuse after having an angry guitar-smashing outburst on stage in Las Vegas last September, although no details of his addiction have been revealed.
The tour will begin on March 28 in Chicago, and will include New York, Pittsburgh, and Toronto. They are also set to play in London on June 1st, and will announce other dates in early 2013.
