A wearable tail for humans wags when heart rate increases.

You can get a sense of a cat's emotions through her body language.

What if you had one of those mechanisms available to you?

Check out a wearable wagging tail concept that's up on kickstarter.

Dubbed ‘Tailly’, it reacts with the wearer’s heart rate, wagging rapidly when the owner is excited and it simply hangs down when the human has a normal heartbeat.

When the heart rate decreases from a level of excitement, the tail slowly sways back and forth. The designers state “Tailly is not just a toy, nor is it a fashion accessory or a gadget. It is those three items combined, and since it reacts to the heart beat rate, an extension of the users’ body.”

The tail is attached to a belt, which utilizes sensors to measure the heart rate. It is interchangeable and they are available in several colors including white, black, brown and gray.

The innovative minds behind Tailly have also created a similar item. Dubbed Shippo, it is also a tail that responds to brain waves rather than heart rates.

What do you think of the concept?
