Back to school in Connecticut.
Some schools reopen in Connecticut for the first time since 20-year old gunman claimed 28 lives, including his mother's and his own.
While Newtown's schools remained closed Monday, they have opened in some districts.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) DR. FRANK SIPPY, THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS FOR CONNECTICUT'S REGION 15, SAYING:
"I think the one thing we can't do is we can't turn schools into a fortress. However, at the same time we have to mindful that even ten years ago it was unthinkable that we would put automatic locks on schools and now that's where we are at. So it's a different time and we need to be as responsive as we can without again without compromising the integrity of what we do."
As funeral services are being held for the victims, images of six-year-old Olivia Engel who was slain in the shooting were released.
She was going to play the role of an angel in a church play.
