The body of Jacintha Saldanha, the British nurse who apparently committed suicide after taking a prank call, arrived at a church in southern India for a memorial service and burial on Monday (December 17).
Saldanha was set to be buried in her home village of Shirva in southern Karnataka State after the memorial.
Saldanha was found hanged from a wardrobe in staff lodgings at London's King Edward VII hospital just days after she answered the hoax call from an Australian radio station and put it through to a colleague who divulged details on the Duchess of Cambridge's health.
