This documentary is an attempt to depict the reality of the sufferings ad the upheaval caused in the lives of the innocent accused for carrying out the Mecca Masjid blast. All the accused, who were from a particular community were pitted against the political and bureaucratic nexus in order to exhibit their efficiency ad promptness in dealing with crimes and acts of terror. The Indian media was also partly responsible for the suffering of the innocent people, in order to grab viewers' eyeballs by naming hem as culprits without a trial or investigation and lack of judicial evidence. Unless our investigating procedures are made systematic and not symptomatic and governed by humane processes as prescribed by our constitution there is little hope for these excesses being stopped which we broadly classify as collateral damage.
