ACI ATEX approved fans (http://www.aircontrolindustries.com/products/172/atex-fans) can be made of stainless steel, mild steel or aluminium. Consideration should be given to any agressive substances in the atmosphere with regard to the material used in their manufacture. If required, special pain finishes are available. (Please note - moteos are also available to ATEX Directive equivalents in other countries).
