1941: Counter Attack review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of 1941: Counter Attack (developed and published by Capcom) for arcades, also part of Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 for PS2 and Capcom Classics Collection: Remixed for PSP. SHMUPs seem strange and abstract even by today's standards. But setting one in the context of World War II makes it even stranger. But that's fine, if the gameplay's great! 1941 stumbles in a couple spots, mostly involving controls around forced-scrolling segments, and noises that make the use of earmuffs a necessary precaution.
