STORY: Francesca Eastwood, daughter of multi-Golden Globe Award winner Clint Eastwood, has been named Miss Golden Globe by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

The honor is bestowed annually on the offspring of well-known talent and has, in the past, been received by such Hollywood royalty as Rainey Qualley, daughter of actress Andie MacDowell; Rumer Willis; Laura Dern; Melanie Griffith and Joely Fisher. The recipient traditionally assists in the Golden Globe awards.

"They're really proud. My mom was the one who told me actually," said Eastwood, when asked how her parents reacted when they found out the news. "My dad's excited; everyone's really excited. My little sister is really jealous, so I told her 'Don't worry, I'm sure one day."

Eastwood will assist with the live Golden Globes telecast on January 13.
