A Kargil hero, Captain Saurabh Kalia, was captured by the Pakistan Army in 1999, brutalised and tortured before he was killed. His murderers gave him no dignity in death. For 13 long years, Captain Kalia's father, Dr. N K Kalia, has been fighting a battle for justice. Hours since he knocked the doors of the Supreme Court, support comes pouring in for the father, even as more voices against war crimes and Govt apathy emerge. It was here on TIMES NOW that Capt Saurabh Kalia's father made a desperate appeal, asking that Pakistan be brought to justice. After the massive outpouring of support for Capt Saurabh Kalia's family, the families of other soldiers in Capt Kalia's regiment who were also captured and tortured by the Pakistani army have also spoken out, demanding an apology from Pakistan for its war crimes.
