A drunk man gets arrested after he tells kids there is no such thing as Santa during a Christmas parade.

Ahh, the Christmas season; a time for joy, peace and ultimately a few Scrooges looking to ruin people’s good spirits. Take one man in Kingston, Ontario, who apparently set out to serve as a real life Grinch.

The 24-year-old male was reportedly walking around at the Santa Claus parade and told children that good old Saint Nick didn’t really exist. Residents called police to inform them of the man’s troubling attitude.

Cops easily located the male, as he had “his hair formed to look like horns that were protruding from his head." He was taken into police custody for breach of probation and causing a disturbance due to intoxication.

This isn’t the first disturbing Santa report from this year. Recently, a Santa Claus, working in a mall in the United Kingdom was stuck hanging from the building’s ceiling after a rope got tangled in his beard.

He lost his footing while descending through a hole on the ceiling during the mall’s switching on the Christmas lights ceremony. He didn’t want to disappoint the kids, so would not take his beard off, which would have allowed him to quickly get down.

Instead, he stayed hanging 15 feet in the air for roughly 40 minutes, before he finally got back to the ground safely.
