The teens of Berk find a mysterious new girl, Heather, who was victimized by a pirate attack, on the beach. To Astrid's jealousy, Hiccup (along with the other male teens) seems to warm up too much to the newcomer, and her suspicions heighten when Heather expresses an extraordinary interest in the Book of Dragons. Upon learning Heather's true story, Hiccup and the other Berk teens attempt to rescue Heather's parents from the Outcasts.
