Thirteen people were killed and a police officer seriously wounded on Saturday in a gunfight in Sri Lanka's biggest prison.
Officials said it started after inmates opened fire on police after breaking in to the prison armoury.
Members of staff were also held hostage.
The army had to be called in to help control the situation.
