Another video of me playing the 2 manual 4 rank Compton organ installed at St Ann with Emmanuel Church in the Robin Hood Chase district of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.
Im playing the communion hymn 'Before I take the body of my Lord' to the tune 'Laying Down' from the new Methodist hymn book 'Singing the Faith'. This hymn makes use of the softer stops on this instrument starting with the Salicional stop at 8 foot in the first verse and then building up. The organ chamber can be seen in the background and eagle eyed spotters may see the swell shutters moving!
