Franz Peter Schubert (1797 – 1828) – Austrian composer, one of the greatest representatives of the Viennese classical musical school. Also, he is one of the founders of the Romanticism in music. Shubert left a huge creative legacy, which includes 16 operas, 22 piano sonatas, 9 overtures, 22 quartets, 9 symphonies and more than 600 songs. However, during his lifetime, none of his compositions were performed.
