Me playing the organ at Over Baptist Church, Cambridgeshire.
The organ was built by the John Compton Organ Company Ltd for the church sometime during the mid 1960s and is the 363 model. Unusually for this model there is no 'rotofon' speaker but instead there are 2 straight speaker cabinets situated at the front on the gallery.
Im playing the beautiful hymn 'O thou, whom once they flocked to hear' to the tune 'St Sepulchre' which makes use of the main sounds on the organ for accompanying congregational hymn singing.
Many thanks to Pastor David Smith for allowing me access to another brilliant example of a post war electronic organ built by Compton.
NOTE: this is purely my interest in order to make sure that these fine organs are archived forever and I do not make any monetary profit by this video being on dailymotion.
