A space capsule brings back bizarre samples like astronaut blood and urine.

The capsule SpaceX Dragon has returned to earth after successfully completing a special delivery to the space station and a return mission back to Earth.

The unmanned capsule was delivering supplies including gear and equipment necessary to the space station.

It returned to earth carrying urine and blood samples from the astronauts, along with research materials, and other equipment hardware.

Some of the samples sent back to Earth had been waiting over a year to be delivered.

SpaceX is the only robotic unmanned capsule ever to return to earth bearing cargo.

The capsule was onboard the International Space Station for three weeks before being sent back to earth.

Space Exploration Technology’s CEO and Chief Technical Officer Elon Musk said, “This historic mission signifies the restoration of America’s ability to deliver and return critical space station cargo. The reliability of SpaceX’s technology and the strength of our partnership with NASA provide a strong foundation for future missions and achievements to come.”

The other company working with NASA to build cargo delivery shuttles is Virginia's Orbital Sciences Corp. who has a 1 point 9 billion dollar contract, and will begin flight-testing their new shuttles this year.
