Sarah Brightman performs five songs during the show, including duets with Michael Ball and Dennis O'Neil. The celebration is a star-studded collection of artists performing a wide variety of selections from some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's best-known musical productions. The entire two hour program, directed by David Mallet, is available on the 1999 DVD release, "Andrew Lloyd Webber: The Royal Albert Hall Celebration", from Polygram Video/Universal Music.
The song, "Phantom of the Opera", features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Richard Stilgoe and is the title song from the long-running smash musical of the same name. Sarah Brightman was the original Christine Daaé in the initial 1986 West End and 1988 Broadway productions.
