Dziga Vertov's 1922 episode of the national newsreel, Kino Pravda. The clip shows workers carting a projector from a warehouse on horse and buggy to a central square where they project on a sheet. It is a remarkable example of the modes of experimentation Vertov and his collaborators were taking on in developing new modes of producing and publicly presenting documentary.
