Hong Kong bankers gathered at the sixth annual Iron Monger Hedge Fund Fight Night to see their colleagues fight it out for charity.
American Anthony Carango, an executive director at Nomura Holdings, won the 'heavyweight' title.
He said the feeling of winning came only second to the birth of his son 10 days ago, but a month off beer was also a tough sacrifice.

"Ah, I mean the biggest sacrifice is beer, I haven't had a beer in, like, a month, which is a travesty. So I'm looking forward to the first cold one right now, so. Ha, ha!"
Danielle Midalia, a creative manager at Operation Smile, defeated Andrea Glynn, an associate at the Bank of Montreal, in the night's only female contest.

"It's so quick that you don't know, you've just got to use what's in your body memory basically."
At more than HK$2,000 ($260) a seat, the black-tie crowd filled every chair inside the makeshift boxing tent.
Proceeds go to two children's charities Operation Breakthrough and Operation Smile.
Last year's event raised more than HK$500,000.
