"Vidyavachaspati" Prof Dr N N Murthy, Highly acclaimed Environmentalist, Scholar & Academician spoke on Harita Kata and its importance in modern Telugu literature. He was speaking at Seminar organized by Vedagiri Communications on the occasion of Telugu Short Story Centenary Celebrations at Rajahmundry. Harita Kata is one of the programmes of Paryavaran Kavitodyamam organized by Jagruthi Kiran Foundation in association with Kadhakeli -- Monthly magazine dedicated for short stories. He explained how literatures on Environmental problems are useful in bringing awareness among people. He stressed the importance of Green Literature. His lecture was very interesting and gave new thoughts on need of green literature. He is Crusader of the movement going in Andhra Pradesh from 2008.
Dr Murthy is Director, Jagruthi Kiran Consultants and is highly qualified with 29 degrees from 21 universities (Limca Record 2008). He received many awards, honors including Knight of Justice Honor (UK), Albert Schweitzer Medal (Spain), IEI Gold Medal (India), Kentucky Colonel by Governor of Kentucky State, USA and many honors world over.
