Rachel Held Evans is a self proclaimed Evangelical feminist who wanted to know what it would be like to spend a year living as a biblical woman. She wrote a book, "A Year of Biblical Womanhood," describing how she obeyed rules from the Old Testament, from referring to her husband as master, no haircuts, and no shopping trips to the mall because all her clothes were homemade.
