Bashundhara Group (BG) Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir inaugurated the ship named “Bashundhara Logistics-35”, which was made by Bashundhara Steel and Engineering Limited (BSEL) at a cost of Tk 100 million. This ship has a great carrying capacity of 2,500 metric tonnes of cargoes. The Chairman of Bashundhara Group, Ahmed Akbar Sobhan; the Managing Director, Sayem Sobhan Anvir; Chief advisor to the Chairman of Bashundhara Group Mahaboob Morshed Hassan; Senior executive Director of Bashundhara Steel and Engineering Limited (BSEL) Capt Mohammad Ruhul Amin and others were present during the opening ceremony. The 72.81 meter long and 13.5 meter wide ship, which was built after 20 months’ effort, can move into any area of sea as it has got RINA certification. It is primarily built for carrying cement cement clinker.
