A Washington State University survives an 11-story fall.
A horrifying scenario unfolded in Pullman, Washington when a 22-year-old student at Washington State University fell 11 stories from a dorm room on camps. The incident occurred at approximately 10 P.M. and the man was flown by a helicopter to a nearby medical center.
Miraculously, the male survived, as several trees had broken the descent and he landed on grass. He was awake and responsive when emergency officials arrived, but he did sustain injuries.
Police claimed that no alcohol was involved, but law enforcement is investigating what caused the fall.
There have many other similar incidents in the past.
Earlier this year, another man survived a bad fall. The male window washer was on 13th story at the time during his job at Children's Hospital in Alabama. His equipment reportedly failed, causing him to descend 200 feet to the ground. He landed in mulch which may have cushioned the impact. Fortunately, he survived the fall.
