"Vidyavachaspati" Prof Dr N N Murthy, reputed Quality, Environment Expert, Scholar & Poet spoke on Paryavaran Kavitodyamam at 22 nd National Conference held at Bhopal organized by Akhil Bhartiya Bhasha Sahitya Sammelan 10-11 July 2010. Akhil Bhartiya Bhasha Sahitya Sammelan is a national body promoting Indian languages co-ordination, understanding and literary co-operation through conferences, seminars, workshops countrywide. Many prominent poets, writers, novelists, journalists, teachers, professors, scholars are involved in these programmes.
Prof Dr N N Murthy was delivering a lecture in Hindi on Paryavaran Kavitodyamam, a movement going on in Andhra Pradesh since 2008. He explained about Harita Kavita, Harita Kata and various other programmes organized as part of this movement and these are useful in creating awareness on Environment. His lecture was quite interesting, gave new dimension on Environment education and need of green literature.
He is Founder Secretary of Jagruthi Kiran Foundation and Director of Jagruthi Kiran Consultants. Gifted speaker delivered lectures, talks on varied subjects in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai, Sharjah, Iran, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Nederland's. He is adviser in many countries to Governments, companies and Visiting Professor in several universities across globe. UNESCO designated him as Messenger for Culture of Peace in 2003 recognising his work.
He is highly qualified with 29 degrees from 21 universities (Limca Record 2008). He has received Outstanding Young Person of the City by Jaycee International, Special Appreciation from Nelson Mandela for Poetry, International Peace Prize from USA, Cavalier from Belgium King, Albert Schweitzer Medal (Spain), Kentucky Colonel by Governor of Kentucky State, USA and many honors world over. He has got honorary degrees "Vidyavachaspati" "Vidyasagar" and a title "Saraswatiputra".
