A woman is arrested after caught lighting a vending machine on fire.
It's easy to get mad at vending machines. It seems like they get stuck way too often.
One woman in North Carolina, however, went too far. 43-year-old Debra Johnson reportedly got so mad that she torched a vending machine. The entire incident was caught on surveillance at a Piggly Wiggly store. Johnson is shown kicking the machine after it failed to give her a soda or refund her money.
So, she lit it on fire and bought a drink from another working vending machine. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the flames within minutes and Johnson was arrested a few days later.
She was charged with two felony crimes: burning of certain buildings and personal property.
In court, she stated ““I'll represent myself 'cause I'm guilty. I don't need a lawyer to lie for me, cause I'mma tell you I done it”.
