Firefighters battle a raging inferno on the roof of a commercial building in Los Angeles.
Over 125 firefighters were needed to fight the blaze that had totally consumed the building which housed a car loan office and a print shop.
Local media reported that the building had been evacuated, and there were no reports of injuries.
The fire broke out in the Echo Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles near the Hollywood freeway.
Firefighters closed two lanes of traffic causing congestion that backed up for several kilometres.
It was not immediately known what caused the blaze.
