It may be early October, but parts of China are already seeing the first signs of Old Man Winter. In the Aba Tibetan-Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the landscape was covered in white.
At one scenic spot in Songpan, the prefecture's northeastern region, visitors were able to take in the sights and even play with snow.
[Tourist]:
"We come from Leshan City. We are really happy to see so much snow."
[Tourist]:
"We didn't expect the snow. We are playing with snow and it's really fun."
Snow is also being removed from the roads by the local traffic department to make sure that people can get around without any problems.
