Well, a new product in the works offers hope. Dubbed the ‘ostrich pillow’, it is described as a micro-environment, enabling nappers to stick their head and hands inside the fluffy object and snooze anywhere. The product description states “OSTRICH PILLOW has been designed to allow you to create a little private space within a public one, to relax and unwind.” Designed by Studio KG, the unique pillow was invented with one basic idea in mind: short power naps increase productivity by 30%.
The designers worked for approximately one year, testing different materials and sizes. They have used Kickstarter for fundraising and seem to have done very well so far.
Studio KG states “We have tried it in airports, trains, airplanes, libraries, at the office, on a sofa and even on the floor.”
