Palm Beach Marinas

One of the best examples of a hurricane safe marina in south Florida is Soverel Harbour. Affectionately known as a ‘hurricane hole’, boaters know protected marinas offer the best “in-water” shelter from damaging surges caused by tropical storms and hurricanes. During the devastating hurricane seasons of ’04 and ’05, the boats in Soverel Harbour didn’t so much as lose an antenna. But, unlike many in-land hurricane holes, Soverel Harbour is just steps away from dining, shopping and entertainment.

Near Palm Beach Inlet

With 146 boat slips, Soverel Harbour Marina is a comfortable, medium-sized marina with slip sizes from 30’ to 75’. They have anywhere from 8 to 20 transient slips throughout the year ready to lease. You can rent a slip for as little as a couple of hours and enjoy lunch or dinner at a local restaurant, overnight, or for as long as the season or the year. Summer rates can be as low as $1.50 per foot, which includes electricity, water and basic cable. Call for more details.

Soverel Harbour is nestled near the Intracoastal Waterway (ICWW), northwest of the P.G.A Boulevard Bridge. Ocean going boaters will find easy access via the ICWW and to the Jupiter and Lake Worth inlets. Soverel Harbour is also about 22 minutes from Palm Beach Inlet.
