Hundreds of Muslims hold a demonstration in the Sri Lankan capital on Wednesday to protest the U.S. made video seen as insulting to Islam.
The protest took place miles away from the U.S. embassy in Colombo and ended peacefully after about two hours.
The film "Innocence of Muslims" has sparked indignation across the globe for its portrayal of the Prophet Mohammad as a womanizer and a fool.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) AMROS ASHRAF SAYING:
"It is our religion. It is about our prophet, the prophet who is the most beloved for us. What they have done is they have made a movie and they have insulted him in that movie. We take it as an insult to all of us."
YouTube owner Google Inc. has already blocked access to the film in Egypt, Libya, India and Indonesia after deadly protests in several countries.
But it has rejected a request by the White House to pull it from the site altogether.
