Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge had a brief stop over at Brisbane Airport in Australia on Wednesday (September 19) before heading home to the UK after completing their Diamond Jubilee tour.

The couple arrived in a private jet and were met by officials on the tarmac before walking through the airport terminal.

It was Kate's first time on Australian soil and after three hours the Duchess had a wardrobe change before boarding a Singapore Airlines plane home.

The Royal couple had spent the last nine days touring Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo, The Solomon Island and Tuvalu representing Queen Elizabeth II in her 60th anniversary of the accession to the throne.
