Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit a mosque on Friday in Malaysia as topless photos of the duchess were published by a French magazine.

The royal couple, on a tour of southeast Asia, visited Assyakirin Mosque in the capital Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, the couple removed their shoes before entering the mosque.

In keeping with Islamic custom, Kate wore a long-sleeved dress with the hem below the knee and matched with a headscarf.

The publication in the French edition of the magazine Closer of pictures of the Duchess sunbathing topless reopens a debate over the privacy of Britain's royal family and the freedom of the press just weeks after a U.S. website published grainy photos of William's younger brother Harry cavorting naked in a Las Vegas hotel room.
