RUNNING MEDITATION - Based On The Book WAKE YOURSELF UP by Marcus Conte

http://wakeyourselfup.org --- There is an "enlightened" connection between running and meditation. The Buddha is purported to have used some sort of yoga for exercise, but for those of us who would rather die than do yoga, we can run. I run a few times per week, eat right and ride a bicycle most days. As long as running doesn't become a great escape from reality, I consider it a companion to meditation: now and historically: around 400 BC, the Greek philosopher Hippocrates famously mentioned about diet and exercise, "If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health."
