Parents of identical children have probably made the mistake of getting their kids’ names mixed up.
Now imagine how much tougher it is for teachers of quadruplets.
A Chinese mom of 6-year-old, identical, quadruplet boys has a unique approach to tell her children apart. She decided to shave a number onto each kid’s head, labeling them 1,2,3 and 4.
The numbers do not show favoritism or luck, but instead the boys are labeled according to their birth order.
An official at the children’s school states, “The quadruplets are too similar in their looks, manners, smiles and voices. We cannot differentiate them, and thus we arranged them in four different classes.”
The mother claims that the only difference between the boys is their eyelid shape. She also says that the father will sometimes mix them up, punishing the wrong child.
But even mom had some trouble. As babies, she would put ankle tags on all four kids to avoid confusion.
