Police outside of London say items found in the home of the French Alps shooting victims are "not hazardous."

Earlier a bomb disposal unit was called in after police discovered unspecified items that caused them concern. Neighbors were evacuated.

Last week, Saad al-Hilli, an Iraqi-born British driver was shot twice in the head in his car along with his wife, her mother and a passing cyclist in France. French police say a single semi-automatic weapon was used in the attack.

Local residents in Surrey say there is a heavy police presence outside Hilli's more than a million and a half dollar home.

Monday's search is the latest development in a shooting that remains a mystery.

The couple's four-year-old daughter lay undiscovered under her mother's corpse for eight hours after the murders. Her seven-year-old sister was brought out of a medically induced coma Sunday after being shot and beaten. She is expected to be questioned later about what happened.
