A country develops because of the hard works by the farmers, workers and other poor people, said Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. She was addressing a rally in the state. Sonia Gandhi also explained various welfare policies for the poor and the workers in the country implemented by the Congress-led UPA Government at the centre.
