City dwellers have to often move around furniture within their apartments in order to accommodate various daily activities

Liu Ming, a feng shui consultant, faced that challenge and set out to come up with a novel solution for his loft.

He reached out to the architect Toshi Kasai of SPACEFLAVOR whose firm created a mobile cube that could fit office, bedroom, and meditation activities into a compact space. The 8-foot cube frees up space for Ming's other activities.
In the designer's words, 'Equipped with adjustable, translucent roller shades, the cube allows daylight to filter through the study and bed niches while responding to varying needs for views, privacy and enclosure.
Openings to the bed and the study are placed at opposite corners to create a sense of gentle movement, emulating the flow of passive Yin and active Yang elements. Secluded from the
activities below, the meditation/tea ceremony loft is accessed by the concealed stair.

What do you think? Would you want to have a cube like that of your own?
