Wildfires rage in California

At least 3,600 acres of national forest have been scorched in California, as firefighters struggle to contain spreading wildfire.

Officials say the blaze at the Angeles National Forest is only 15 percent contained - despite almost 800 firefighters helping to douse the flames.

Four people have been treated for injuries.

Local media said it could take crews up to a week to contain the fire, which broke out on Sunday (September 2).

Campsites have been cleared as the blaze continues, fuelled by dry conditions and high temperatures.

Less than 15 miles (24 km) from downtown Los Angeles, the park attracts some 30 million visitors a year.
