Minor clashes continue ahead of Senegal vote

Opposition protesters in Senegal continue to gather to demonstrate against President Abdoulaye Wade's candidacy in Sunday's upcoming election.

Protesters are banned from gathering in Independence Square in the capital Dakar. The might of the president's security forces is managing to face off resistance for now.

But the protesters are determined to have their say, and light scale clashes continue to take place ahead of the vote.

Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports from Dakar.
