Big wildfire burns around Madrid

A forest fire near Madrid forces the evactuation of 2,000 residents early on Tuesday.

The raging flames affected three towns around the Spanish capital.

Six-hundred rescue services officers and Madrid's fire department worked overnight to prevent the fire from reaching residential areas.

Spain is facing its worst wildfire season in a decade, with three times as much forest area burned so far than in the whole of 2011.
