A Bigfoot impersonator died this weekend while trying to stage a Bigfoot sighting in Montana. Randy Lee Tenley was wearing a military-type ghillie suit and attempting to trick passing motorists into thinking that he was Bigfoot when he was hit by two cars and killed.

Authorities say Tenley, 44, of Kalispell, Montana, was struck by one car on Sunday night while he was standing in the right-hand lane of U.S. Highway 93. He was then run over by the second car.

After interviewing friends, authorities have come to believe that Tenley was trying to make people believe they had seen Bigfoot. Authorities believe alcohol may have been involved.

Ghillie suits resemble heavy foliage and are worn as camouflage by military snipers.
