Muslim Brotherhood tops Egypt poll results

The coalition led by the Freedom and Justice party, which represents Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, has won 47 per cent of seats in the country's election, final results show.

The Salafi al-Nour party won 24 per cent of seats, while the two main liberal coalitions lagged further behind, securing only about nine per cent of the vote each.
