Russia has been rocked by protests triggered by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's United Russia's win of parliamentary elections amid allegations of ballot stuffing.
Putin has acccuses US secretary of state Hillary Clinton of instigating the protests, saying she set the tone when she said that her country's criticism of the vote was well-founded.
