In south Florida, the first sign of Tropical Storm Isaac, which is expected to strengthen to a Category 2 hurricane as it heads toward the Gulf Coast.
Boarding up buildings and stocking up on supplies in Tampa. Concerns about Isaac have already forced Republicans to rework their national convention.

ROMNEY: "It's going to be a great convention."
While Isaac is expected to spare Tampa a direct hit, it isn't clear, however, just where the storm will touch down.
Governor Rick Scott says Florida is ready for any scenario.

"What they are going to find out is we know how to deal with hurricanes, we are prepared, this is a state that knows how to deal with those things."
Most of the Gulf Coast, from Florida all the way to New Orleans are under a hurricane watch.
