The Asus UX31A is perhaps the best ultrabook of 2012 and is probably your best pick when looking for such a portable computer this year.
The Asus Zenbook UX31A Ultrabook is a premium aluminium 13.3 inch ultrabook with a Full HD IPS display, 13.3 inch diagonal, matte finish and chiclet keyboard. You get the third gen Intel Ivy Bridge ultra low voltage processors (Core i5 and i7 options), 4GB RAM, 128 or 256 GB SSD drives, Intel HD 4000 graphics and a Bang and Olufsen sound system.
The Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A ultrabook is the one you should get, but mind you the actual battery life is just 4.5 hours, which is a little bit too low when compared to other ultraportables. It is nonetheles the most powerful ultrabook of 2012.
