London steps up security ahead of games

The British military has been carrying out security drills on London's River Thames ahead of the Summer Olympic Games.

The Olympics has become Britain's biggest security operation with a total cost getting on for a billion dollars.

Though there is no specific threat, organisers say the armed forces will play a big part in keeping athletes and spectators safe.
