Prosecutors have called for a life sentence to be handed down to former Bosnian Serb general Zdravko Tolimir, on trial in the Hague for war crimes.
He is accused of genocide and crimes against humanity, notably for his alleged role in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre of 8,000 Muslim men and boys.
Tolimir has denied the charges against him at the UN tribunal and conducted his own defence.
